 Michael S. Maistelman is the managing member of Maistelman & Associates, LLC.

Maistelman has focused his practice on matters including licensing and permitting, and land use and development. He also has considerable experience in state and local government relations.
Maistelman has focused his practice on matters including licensing and permitting, land use and development, and has considerable experience in state and local government relations. He has represented some of the biggest political candidates across Wisconsin, including Governor Jim Doyle and U.S. Senator Russell Feingold, and worked for many of the largest progressive causes in the state including the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, America Coming Together-Wisconsin Counsel, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin, Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Senate Democratic Campaign Committee.    In 2005, Maistelman was named a "Rising Star" by Campaigns & Elections Magazine, in part because of his work on behalf of Wisconsin State Representative Thomas Nelson, the only Democratic challenger to defeat a Republican incumbent in 2004.    Maistelman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, and a Juris Doctor from the Franklin Pierce Law Center in New Hampshire. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the Milwaukee Jewish Day School, and the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Jewish Community. Maistelman resides in Glendale, WI with his wife Heidi and their three children.
